The Dalhart Solid
It’s 12.55 in Dalhart Texas, the sun is shining. A sunbeam from Dalhart enters ZQM in Berlin and shines on the ceiling.
Berlin, also 12.55 and sunny, the same moment. Another beam shines in and intersects with the one from Dalhart.
At the sunbeams crossing an irregular tetrahedron arises.
To accompany the exhibition and installation, a multiple was made in an edition of 40. Grey cardboard, cut into triangular shapes, glued together over two layers, depict a graphic illusion of tetrahedron, the actual ‘Dalhart Solid’. Send me an e-mail if you’re interested in purchasing an edition of the Dalhart Solid.
